ChatGPT is OpenAI’s conversational artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot that has the ability to generate responses to a variety of topics in a human-like format. The responses are pre-trained with data from the internet and while they can be accurate, the machine still needs to be fact checked. As announced by OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise has been released for companies to leverage artificial intelligence without the fear of their data being used to train the machine.
The announcement mentions a few early adopters like Canva (a design company) and Zapier (a plugin integration and automation company) that use the application within their organization, from troubleshooting bugs to speeding up research time. The Enterprise offering is reportedly SOC 2 compliant, with the report citing that the large language models do not learn from employee usage and all conversations would be encrypted, in transit and at rest.
Unlike ChatGPT Plus that costs $20 USD per person, Enterprise customers currently need to contact sales for pricing.
