XPeng: $744 Million Partnership with DiDi

DiDi Chuxing Technology, also referred to as DiDi, is a transportation company that offers ride sharing services, including private car renting, bike sharing, electric vehicle (EV) charging, vehicle co-manufacturing. The company offers majority of these services through its mobile application, were it boasts of over 500 million users, with its headquarters in Beijing, China.

According to recent reports, XPeng (Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology Co Ltd), a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer has announced a partnership with DiDi. This collaboration will cost XPeng $744 million USD, as they look to purchase DiDi’s EV business assets in a bid to strengthen and promote smart electric mobility.
