Romania: 56 injured in Gas Station Accident

Romania is one of the largest Countries in Europe, with a total area of 238,397km. It shares borders with Bulgaria to the south, Ukraine to the north, Hungary to the west, Serbia to the southwest, Moldova to the east, and the Black Sea to the southeast. The Country boasts of a population of over 19 million people as of 2023.

Multiple explosions in a gas station near Bucharest (the Country’s capital) has killed 2 people and injured about 56. As reported by the BBC, the second explosion unfortunately occurred after firefighters arrived at the scene to control the situation, and about 30 firefighters were caught in the fire.
