Tenerife is an Island located on the Canary Islands. The Canaries (also called the Canary Islands) is an autonomous community that makes up Spain, and the Tenerife is the biggest of the seven main islands, others are Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro.
According to BBC, a serious wildfire has led to the evacuation of villages around the Candelaria and Arafo areas in Tenerife. The report further mentions that the areas affected are steep, leaving fire fighters with the option of using helicopters to control the spread of the fire.
This news is days after the report of the Hawaii wildfire that has claimed lots of lives.
