SecureWorks to Layoff 15%

SecureWorks is an American cybersecurity company with headquarters in Georgia, USA. With a B2B customer base of over 4,000 companies, SecureWorks had majority of its shares acquired by Dell Technologies in 2011.

A recent layoff report mentions a $14.2 million expense due to several termination benefits.

The company has announced that it will be laying off 15% of its workforce in a bid to restructure its operations. They are looking to streamline resources on core business offerings, as they cited that the layoffs would be to simplify and scale their business and to deliver profitable growth. This would mark their second round of layoff this year (2023), as reported by TechCrunch.
