Happy Canada Day: Celebrating 156 Years

Today, Canadians across the country are coming together to celebrate Canada Day, the National Day of Canada. This federal holiday commemorates the anniversary of Canadian Confederation. On July 1, 1867, with the passing of the British North America Act, 1867, the three separate provinces of the Province of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick were merged into a single entity, Canada, within the British Empire.

Canada Day is a time for Canadians to reflect on their shared heritage, diverse culture, and strong values that bind them together as one nation. Communities gather to enjoy various festivities, events, and parades that showcase the Country’s rich history.

Happy Canada Day to all Canadians!
