Several states across the United States have been affected by terrible weather that has led to the disruption of flights across the country. According to CNN, over 5000 flights have been delayed or cancelled because of the persistent storm that struck on Sunday, June 25.
The areas affected by this disaster include Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi and the Ohio valley. With over 700,000 people reportedly without power. Furthermore, the airports that have issued these disruption notices are Newark Liberty International Airport, New York’s LaGuardia and JFK Airports, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and Boston Logan International Airport.
The report also mentions enhanced storm warnings for the following areas; Baltimore, Raleigh, North Carolina, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.
