Denny’s Diner, formally known as Denny’s Corporation, is an American table service diner-style restaurant chain founded in 1954 and headquartered in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It operates over 1,700 restaurants in many countries.
According to reports, the company has announced plans to close 150 of its restaurants due to underperformance and unprofitability in certain locations to rebrand and improve profitability.
The report further mentions that the closures will happen in two phases; 50 restaurants will shut down by the end of this year, and the remaining 100 will close in 2025. It will also streamline its menu from 97 items to 46 and reassess its 24/7 operating hours.
