BlackRock and Microsoft have announced plans to launch a Global AI Infrastructure investment partnership of $30 billion USD to develop artificial intelligence infrastructure as well as data centers and energy projects.
According to reports, MGX, the Abu Dhabi-backed investment firm, and Nvidia will be contributing technical expertise for AI data centers and factories as the investment aims to support the growing demands of AI technology, particularly those used in large-scale data processing.
The report further mentions that the fund’s total investment capacity could reach as much as $100 billion USD, including $70 billion USD through debt financing, with the goal of building new and expanding existing data centers to meet the surging demand for AI technologies.
