TotalEnergies has announced plans to invest $444 million USD in a joint venture with Adani Green Energy to develop a 1,150 megawatt solar power portfolio in India.
According to reports, the portfolio will consist of a mix of operational and under-execution solar assets. The joint venture will be split 50:50 between Adani Green and TotalEnergies.
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) is an Indian renewable energy company, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, India. It develops, builds, operates, and maintains utility-scale grid-connected solar and wind farm projects, as well as one of the largest solar photovoltaic plants in the world.
