IHS Towers To Layoff 100

IHS Towers is a telecommunications infrastructure provider founded in 2001. It is the fourth largest independent owner, operator, and developer of shared communications infrastructure in the world, with operations in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.

According to reports, IHS Towers has announced plans to lay off over 100 employees in the network surveillance team, as well as some senior staff.

The report further mentions that the layoff is a result of the significant devaluation of the Nigerian naira, as the company reported a $1.9 billion USD loss in 2023, as well as foreign exchange losses from USD loans.
