Uttar Pradesh is a state in the northern region of India. It is the most populous state in the country, with a total population of over 241 million residents as of 2021.
According to reports, a double decker bus heading to New Delhi from the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh crashed into the back of a milk tanker, resulting in at least 18 fatalities and about 19 others injured.
The report further mentions that those injured have been rushed to the hospital and are receiving treatment. The prime minister has also announced a compensation package for the victims and their families, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the crash.
