Porsche Recalls 31,689 Vehicles

Porsche has issued a recall of 31,689 vehicles due to faulty brakes. According to the notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the front brake hoses may overtime develop cracks, leading to a loss of brake fluid in the system and reduced functionality of the front brakes. Drivers will receive a “brake fluid low” or “PSM failure” warning message depending on the size of the leak.

Affected vehicles include 2020-2025 Porsche Taycan hybrid electric vehicles.

Porsche will replace the front brake hoses with an increased bending radius free of charge. Notification letters are scheduled to be sent in August 2024.
