According to reports, a fishing boat carrying about 130 people traveling from Lunga in Nampula province to Mozambique Island has capsized, leaving about 94 people dead and 26 still missing. The report mentions that the vessel was an overloaded fishing boat and was not licensed to transport people. It was hit by a tidal wave, which caused the boat to sink. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing to find those missing.
