AT&T Inc., formerly referred to as American Telephone and Telegraph Company, is a multinational technology and telecommunications company founded in 1983 as Southwestern Bell corporation. Specializing in phone services, the company boasts of being the largest wireless carrier in the USA, with its headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
According to recent reports, over 70,000 AT&T customers have reported outages to their phone network across the United States. The report further mentions that customers were unable to access the internet, make calls, or send text messages as of this morning.
Some customers also reported that they have been unable to reach the country’s emergency department on 911. AT&T is currently working to resolve the outage.
