In an effort to establish dominance in conversational artificial intelligence (AI), Google’s Bard will now be powered by its latest AI model, Gemini, which will enhance its reasoning, planning, understanding, summarizing, and writing capabilities. According to Google, Gemini will be released in three tiers: Ultra, Pro, and Nano, and can be used on various devices from mobile to data centers.
The rollout will occur in two phases with Gemini Pro starting now using text-based prompts and being available in English in over 170 countries, with expansion soon to follow. By 2024, Bard will have a new experience powered by Gemini Ultra, which can understand and act on different types of information, including text, images, audio, and video, and generate high-quality code in popular programming languages.
In September 2023, Incognito Blog reported that Bard AI has been improved to allow it to interact with customers using real-time data from various Google services such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps, Google Drive, and Google Docs.
