Best Buy Recalls 930,000 Pressure Cookers

Best Buy is a multinational consumer electronics retailer that was founded in 1966 as a stereo vendor named Sound of Music. The company is headquartered in Minnesota, USA, with its business operations spanning across the United States and Canada.

The company previously operated in China, Europe, and Mexico, but exited due to different reasons.

According to recent reports, Best Buy has recalled about 930,000 insignia pressure cookers with defective inner pots that can lead to spilled food when the cover is opened. The affected cookers have model numbers NS-MC60SS8, NS-MC60SS9, and NS-MC80SS9, and the inner pots have model numbers NS-MCRP6NS9 and NS-MCRP6SS9.

Affected customers have been informed to contact Best Buy for a free replacement of cookers purchased between October 2017 and June 2023.
